William "Bill" Lange Jr.

William "Bill" Lange Jr., 100, of Plainfield, passed away on June 7, 2018.  He was born on December 23, 1917 in Indianapolis to the late William Sr. and Lottie Lange.  Bill was a WWII United States Army veteran and received a bronze star for his meritorious service.  He received his bachelor's degree from Butler University.  Bill retired in 1980 as a cashier after 28 years at PSI now Duke Energy.  After retirement he got his real estate license and sold real estate for 10 years.  Bill was a member of the Plainfield Friends Meeting.  He was a 50 year member of the Plainfield Masonic Lodge #653.  Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley M. Lange; sister, Fern Bauer; grandson, Cory Lange.  Funeral services will be Monday, June 11, 2018 at 12:00 pm (noon) in the Maple Hill Cemetery chapel (709 Harding St., Plainfield, IN, 46168) where friends may visit from 11:00 am until time of service.  Burial will follow after the service.  Survivors include his sons, Glenn (Rose) Lange and Mark Lange (Kimberly Tribble); 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
