Wilbur E. "Webb" James

Wilbur E. "Webb" James, 80, of Plainfield, passed away October 5, 2018.  He was born November 2, 1937, to the late Ross and Emma (Stevenson) James in Brazil, IN.  He was a 1955 graduate of Van Buren High School in Clay County.  He worked 42 years for TWA retiring as a supervisor in 1999.  He was a member of the Plainfield United Methodist Church, and the Plainfield Masonic Lodge #653.  Webb is survived by his wife, Anne James; a son, Howard E. (Kim) James; a daughter, Debra A. (James) Weidenbenner; three brothers, John James, Wilmer "Tub" (Donna) James, and Tom (Phyllis) James; a sister, Sandra (Tom) Ames; 4 grandchildren, Kristin (Justin) Eckerle, Heather Weidenbenner, JoLene James and Brett James; and 2 great grandchildren, Kaiden and Liam Eckerle.  He was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters.  Memorial services will be at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 am until service time at 12 noon.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Plainfield United Methodist Church, 600 Simmons St, Plainfield, IN 46168
