Virginia A. "Ginny" Daugherty

Virginia A. "Ginny" Daugherty, 81, of Plainfield, passed away December 13, 2018.  She was born June 29, 1937 to the late Merrill and Thelma (Cox) Sanders in Dearborn, MI.  She was a homemaker.  She was a member of Hope United Presbyterian Church, and the Epsilon Sigma Alpha International Gamma Tau Chapter.  Ginny is survived by her husband, Max E. Daugherty; a son, Kirk A. Daugherty; a daughter, Toni S. Norris; a brother, David (Rosie) Sanders; two sisters, Marilyn (Harold) Clark and Judy (Bill) Orth; 5 grandchildren, Sasha (Erik) Jensen, Missy Norris, Duston Daugherty, Sienna Daugherty and Shelby Daugherty; and two great grandchildren, Libby Dalstrom and Alek Jensen.  Visitation will be from 2:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday, December 16, 2018 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, December 17 in the funeral home.  Entombment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
