Timothy R. Lathan, 66, of Plainfield, passed away July 18, 2021. He was born April 7, 1955 to the late Marce Lathan and Opal (Sharer) Jarrett in Indianapolis, IN. He was a 1973 graduate of Plainfield High School. He was the owner of Timothy's Pub in Plainfield for over twenty years. Tim retired from the sewer department of Plainfield Department of Public Works in 2020. Tim was a respected, seasoned professional entertainer and gifted musician, who played lead guitar and sang for The Crawdaddys and the Faith Country Band, in addition to other bands through the years. He was a member of Christ Church, Plainfield. He loved his kids, grandkids his loving wife and he enjoyed his dogs and many other stray animals. Timmy is survived by his wife, Debbie (Skinner) Lathan, his sons, Cody (Katie) Lathan; Stefan (Tori) Lathan; his daughter, Whitney (Ryan) Cline; his sister, Pat Oliver; his brother, Don (Alberta) Lathan and his six grandchildren, Charleigh Lathan, Conner Lathan, Carter Cline, Raylynn Lathan, Aniston Cline and Calum Lathan. He was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Wingler. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Hazelwood Christian Church, 9963 S. County Road 0, Hazelwood. Funeral service will be held at the church at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 22. Burial will follow at the Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
