Timothy D. Fisher

Timothy D. Fisher, 83, of Plainfield, passed away on September 28, 2024.  He was born on April 5, 1941 in Indianapolis to the late LeRoy and June (Price) Fisher.  Tim owned Freedom Press Print Shop in Plainfield from 1976 to 2008.  He was involved with many civic and social organizations including Plainfield Plus, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, Downtown Merchants Association, Hendricks County Habitat for Humanity, Sycamore Services, Danville Conservation Club, Ducks Unlimited, National Shoot to Retrieve Association and sponsored the Dynasty Co-Ed softball team in the 80's.  Tim was an avid outdoors man.  He loved to fish and would wet a line whenever he could.  He enjoyed deer, turkey and bird hunting.  Tim was a member of the Plainfield Christian Church and helped start the outdoor outreach ministry.  His beloved bird dogs were a huge part of his life after retirement.  Tim was a field trial judge at the Amo Bird Dog Club for NSTRA where he loved spending time with the many friends he had there.  Tim and Jan, his angel on earth for 56 years loved to travel to any beach to be in the sun with their feet in the sand!  They loved their family and were always in the stands and on the sidelines cheering on their kids and grandkids at all their events.  Tim lived his faith and often shared his testimony with others.  He was preceded in death by his wife, the love of his life, Janice Fisher.  Funeral services will be Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 1:00 pm in Plainfield Christian Church (800 Dan Jones Road, Plainfield, IN 46168) where friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm.  Survivors include his children, Brian (Cindy) Fisher, Jill (Stacy) Fulk, Paula (J.B.) Landis and Rhonda (Art) Schlangen; brother, Tom Fisher; grandchildren, Joel (Rain) Fisher, Luke Fisher, Dr. Olivia Fisher, Carter Fulk and Chloe Fulk; great grandchildren Bella and Kenzie.
