Thomas L. Dages

Thomas L. Dages, 89, of Plainfield, passed away on June 22, 2024. He was born in Loogootee, Indiana on October 14, 1934 to the late James and Catherine (Bradley) Dages. Tom served honorably in the United States Army from 1956 to 1958. He later worked in human resources for GM Truck & Bus plant for 37 years. Tom was a member of Knights of Columbus, the American Legion and St. Susanna Catholic Church. He enjoyed visiting gambling boats, playing cards, especially bingo and euchre.  Above all he was a faithful servant to the Lord. Tom is preceded in death by his loving wife, Martha Rose Dages; brothers, Mike Dages, Carl Dages, Louie Dages, Shorty Dages; sister, Pauline Birch. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 1:00 pm in St. Susanna Catholic Church (1210 E. Main St. Plainfield, IN 46168) where friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery with military honors. Survivors include his sons; Steve Dages, Greg (Melanie) Dages, Chris (Karen) Dages, Patrick (Kelly) Dages; 3 grandchildren, Maks, Justin Thomas and Kyra Rose; step-grandchildren; Marianne and Taylor; 8 step-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
