Thelma Brown

Thelma Brown, 97, of Plainfield, passed away on October 21, 2020.  She was born in Lebanon, IN on June 3, 1923 to the late John and Sophie DeBoer.  Thelma was a graduate of Indiana University.  She was a counselor for the Indiana University School of Nursing for 16 years retiring in 1986.  Thelma was a member of the Plainfield United Methodist Church, Plainfield Eastern Star and the Central Indiana Campers.  She enjoyed sewing, tatting, crochet, stained glass and her puppies.  Thelma loved her family especially her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Brown; brothers, John Jr. and Marvin DeBoer; sister, Maxine Peacock.  Graveside services will be at a later date.  Survivors include her daughters, Judy Brown, Patricia Bostwick and Teresa Brown; grandchildren, Aaron, Andrew and Travis Pyle; great grandchildren, Jackson, Aiden and Greyson Pyle.
