Tamara "Tammy" R. Sneed

Tamara "Tammy" Renee Sneed entered eternity in Heaven on December 6, 2018 while surrounded by her family.  She was born on November 24, 1964 in Beech Grove, IN to Bobby and Janice Thorpe.  Tammy married her husband, Kurt, on February 11, 1984.  Her greatest joys in life were her two children, Chris & Janice.  Tammy fought four brave battles with cancer and was often referred to as a "lion" for her positive attitude, strength and courageous perseverance.  She loved making others happy.  Tammy had the most positive and uplifting heart.  She also enjoyed loving on her puppies, cooking large meals for her family and randomly dancing out of genuine happiness.  Although she will be missed terribly by all, Tammy will always be remembered and will continue to comfort those she loved most by her favorite saying "God's got this!"  She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Thorpe and her brother, Robert Thorpe.  Per Tammy's wishes, graveside services will be held for family members and close friends Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 10:00 am in Maple Hill Cemetery (709 Harding Street, Plainfield, IN 46168).  Survivors include her loving husband, Kurt Sneed; son, Chris (Rena) Sneed; daughter, Janice Sneed; mother, Janice Thorpe; sister, Cheri (Matt) Peden; many nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.  In lieu of flowers and gifts, contributions may be made in Tammy's memory at the Plainfield Old National Bank branch.
