Spencer Lee Gibbs, 79, of Danville, passed away on April 18, 2024. He was born in Indianapolis on June 27, 1944 to the late Irvin and Glenna Gibbs. Spencer was a United States Army veteran. He was a Corrections Officer for the Indiana Boys School before retiring. Spencer belonged to the ARRL (American Radio Relay League) and would volunteer for the Red Cross through the club. He was a master gardener and enjoyed fishing and camping. Spencer loved spending time with his family. A Celebration Of Life will be held at a later date. Survivors include his wife, Cindy Gibbs; son, Jeremy Gibbs; daughter, Jessica (Phil) Norcross; brother, Jamie (Paco Argiz) Gibbs; sister, Mary Ann Storm; grandchildren, Josh Gibbs, Molly Gibbs and Eleri Norcross.
