Shirley Lahrman

Shirley Lahrman, 80, of Plainfield, passed away on April 23, 2022.  She was born on August 3, 1941 in Quincy, IN to the late John and Beatrice Smith.  Shirley was a loving mother and dedicated homemaker.  She enjoyed singing gospel music, watching grandchildren's sporting events and bird watching in her free time.  Shirley loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Lahrman; grand daughter, Deanna Johnson.  A Celebration Of Life will be Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 3:30 pm in Hummel Park (1500 S. Center Street, Plainfield, IN 46168) shelter house #2 where friends may visit from 2:00 to 3:30 pm.  Following the service a butterfly and balloon release will take place.  Survivors include daughters, Debra Savage, Donna (Jeff) Scarbrough, Christine (Demba) Diene, Christi (Mike) Jones, Laura (Dimitri) Garnelis, Mary (Bob) Crawford, Shari (Mike) Shepherd; siblings, Dorothy Jones, Norma McCormick, Donald (Carolyn) Smith, Marjorie Jordan and Judy (Steve) Evans; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
