Shawdownn Shay Hawkins

Shawdownn "Shay" Hawkins, 34, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 23, 2022.  She was born in Houston, TX on October 21, 1988.  Shay loved working at Gillespie Florist over the years.  She enjoyed hosting karaoke and playing board games in her free time.  Shay started her own makeup company and was very proud of it.  She loved spending time with her son, Zyander.  Shay was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Hawkins; aunt, Solita "Gina" Hopkins; grandfather, Earl Hopkins.  Visitation only will be Saturday, December 3, 2022 in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.  Survivors include her mother, Sharon Hawkins; son, Zyander Hawkins; grandmother, Elizabeth "Quint" Hopkins; cousin, Tauni Murphy; best friend, Tasha Williams; several aunts, uncles and cousins.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to help support Zyander at https://gofund.me/701a9032 https://gofund.me/701a9032https://gofund.me/701a9032
