Saundra M. Willey

Saundra M. Willey, 85, of Plainfield, passed away on October 27, 2024. She was born to the late James Faulkner and Helen (Smith) Arndt in Fort Wayne, Indiana on October 16, 1939. Saundra worked at A.W.D / Auto Pro for many years, later transitioning to retail at Cracker Barrel and a bus driver for the Plainfield School Corporation. She married Jack Willey on November 5, 1998, who still survives. Saundra was a former member of St. Susanna Catholic Church. She loved gardening, cooking, feeding/watching the birds, but most of all, Saundra and Jack enjoyed daily meals at the Oasis Diner. She is preceded in death by a sister, Judy Critchlow; brother-in-law, Rex Critchlow. Funeral services will be Sunday, November 3, 2024 in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home at 3:00pm, where friends may visit from 1:00pm until time of services. A private graveside will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. She is also survived by daughters, Jennifer (Brian) McKee, Amy (Christopher) Kersey, Susan (Charlie) Williamson, Diane Roberts, Jena Willey; son in spirit, Michael (Sheri) Johnson; brother, Walter (Jan) Faulkner; sister, Jan (Doug) Cowen; 8 grandchildren, Nikki, Emanuel, Matthew, Jacob, Conner, Kyle, Nolan and Kate; several great grandchildren.
