Ruth S. Clift

Ruth S. Clift, 95, of Plainfield, moved to Heaven on September 24, 2024.  She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.  Ruth was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles E. Clift Sr.; son, Charles E. Clift Jr.; parents, Leslie and Hattie Smith; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.  She is survived by her daughter, Susan C. Boek of Plainfield, IN; grand daughter, Melissa Ruth Heidtmann of Cincinnati, OH; great grandson, Will Coers of Brownsburg, IN and his parents; several nieces, nephews and their families; very special niece in law, Nancy Olin of Nashville, TN.  Ruth was born in Owl's Head, NY and spent most of her years in Syracuse, NY and Montgomery, AL.  She was a 70 year member of the Order Of Eastern Star.  Ruth was a blessing to her family and friends, always supportive, loving, caring and graciously forgiving.  We thank her for sharing her life and love with us.  A Celebration Of Life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers contributions can be sent to Indiana University Health Hospice Attn: Methodist Health Foundation (1800) North Capital Ave. PO Box 7168 Indianapolis, IN 46207-7168).
