Russell Dean Kirkham

Russell Dean Kirkham, 73, of Clayton, passed away surrounded by loving family members. He was born in Indianapolis on June 29, 1948 to the late Frosty and Velma Kirkham. Russell graduated from Cascade High School in 1966. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Indiana Wesleyan University and received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Russell enlisted in August of 1966 and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force. He served in Texas, Germany and Thailand. After retirement he returned to his childhood home, in Hazelwood, IN. Russell loved the Lord and was a faithful active member of Hazelwood Baptist Church where he served and supported it's various ministries including Seedline and Lifegate. He enjoyed drinking coffee with his friends. Russell would talk to anyone and never met a stranger. He liked dogs and was very patriotic. Russell loved spending time with his family. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the Hazelwood Baptist Church (9838 S. CR 0, Hazelwood, IN 46118) where friends may visit from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Center Valley Cemetery. Survivors include his loving wife, Peggy Kirkham; daughters, Staci (Jameson) Johnson, Pam (Chris) Feuquay and Debra (Steven) Bavetz; 11 grandchildren.
