Robert K. Stirling, 58, of North Salem, passed away June 9, 2017. He was born May 28, 1959 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Drs Robert and Marie Stirling. He attended Decatur Central High School and Cathedral graduating in 1977. Robert received his bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from Brown University in 1981. He went on to have a 40 year career in construction business developing hotels to subdivisions across the country. Robert was an elder and active member of Eagle Church in Whitestown. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother , son and follower of Christ. Robert loved being with his family, playing on his farm and spending time with his beautiful bride. He is survived by his wife Tanya Stirling; two sons, Luke (Christine) Garver, Austin (Lily) Stirling; two daughters Chianne (John) East, Mackenzie (Chris) Estridge; two sisters, Nancy (Scott) Smith, Mary (Seth) Baker; 8 grandchildren, Camden (17), Cade (15), Keaton (13), Colton (10), Molly (10), Baynx (10), Jax (8), Kiah (3). Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm on Monday, June 19, 2017 at the Plainfield Christian Church, (800 Dan Jones Road, 46168) where friends may call on Monday from noon until service time at the church. Entombment will be at West Ridge Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.
