Robert L. Lollar, 94, of Plainfield, passed away May 27, 2021. He was born April 9, 1927 to the late Mack and Matilda (Dubree) Lollar in Indianapolis, IN. Robert was also the middle brother to the late Mildred Coleman and Ralph Lollar. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Evergreen Masonic Lodge #713 and the VFW and American Legion Posts. He was a tool and die maker for Diamond Chain Manufacturing Co. for 41 years retiring in 1986. Robert is survived by his wife, of 67 years and 11 months, Mary Lou (Brumley) Lollar. He is also survived by his son, Les Lollar; a daughter, Ruthie (Greg) Shaver; three grandchildren, Stefanie Wiseman, Dana (Chaz) Lollar-Lee, and Adam (Tara) Shaver; and 4 great grandchildren, Audra, Isabella, Greyson, and Liam. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 4:00 pm in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, with calling on Saturday from 2:00 pm until service time at 4:00 pm.
