Richard A. Breedlove

Richard A. Breedlove, 79, of Plainfield, passed away on September 26, 2022.  He was born on December 7, 1942 in Indianapolis to the late John and Josephine Breedlove.  Richard was an United State Army Veteran and served in the Vietnam War.  He was a production scheduler for 34 years at Link Belt retiring in 2002.  Richard enjoyed playing golf and bowling in his free time.  He was a NASCAR enthusiast and loved going to the Daytona 500.  Jimmie Johnson was his favorite driver.  Richard loved spending time with his family as often as he could.  He was preceded in death by his brother, John Breedlove.  Funeral services will be Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Survivors include his sons, Rick (Gina) and Tom (Carmen) Breedlove; best friend, Janet Breedlove; sisters, Judy Griffin and Barb Youngs; grandchildren, Kate, Colby and Buck Breedlove; 1 great grandchild on the way!
