Randy Davis

Randy Davis, 56, originally from Plainfield, IN, died suddenly and unexpectedly on February 16^th at IU West Hospital.   He was born in San Diego CA on March 1, 1961 to Norma (Southers) Davis Ebert and William R. Davis.   He was a graduate of Plainfield High School and attended  Ivy Tech and IUPUI.  He worked for Upstaging, Inc. transporting concert equipment across the US and Canada for artists such as Katy Perry, Kenny Chesney, Paul McCartney, U2 and many others.  In addition to his parents, Randy is survived by his  brother, Greg (Stefanie),  step-sisters, Elizabeth Uvila (Larry),  and  Melissa Ebert, step-brother, Robert Ebert (Cheryl) and numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by his beloved step-father, Robert Ebert, and step-brother, Steve Ebert.  Visitation  will be 12 Noon to 2 pm, Saturday, February 24, 2018 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 710 E. Buchanan St., Plainfield, 46168.  Services to place his ashes in the church’s columbarium will follow at 2pm on Saturday.  In lieu of flowers,  donations in Randy’s name may be made to IU Health Hospice at IU Health West Hospital, Avon, IN 46123.  Arrangements provided by Hampton Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield (www.hamptongentry.com
