Randal L Coffin, age 75, passed away peacefully at home on January 30, 2025. He was born August 19, 1949 in Indianapolis to Albert R. and Marjorie (Pritchett) Coffin. He lived in Plainfield his entire life. He spent the last 35 years with the love of his life, Sandra Huston. They loved to travel, cook, and attend Ducks Unlimited events where he was a member for nearly 50 years and they together were President’s Council Benefactors. They also used to ride in bike races and run half marathons. Randy had recently retired from the Indianapolis Airport after over 37 years as the Airport Maintenance Coordinator. He also worked part time at the local Harley-Davidson for several years. Randy attended the Fairfield Friends Church in Camby for over 30 years where he was a trustee, treasurer of the cemetery, and the master fish fryer at the annual fish fry. He loved to travel, fish, and hunt and went to such places as Alaska, Canada, out west for elk hunting to Hudson Bay to fish. He is survived by his sister, Patricia L. (Coffin) Butler, nieces and a great-nephew. A private service will be held at a future date. Memorial donations may be made to Ducks Unlimited.
