Phyllis A. Ziege

Phyllis A. Ziege, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 17, 2022.  She was born in Indianapolis on June 10, 1939 to the late Paul and Louise Dill.  Phyllis was a teacher for IPS School 67 and retired after 20 years. “Phyllis enjoyed traveling and camping, especially to Colorado.  She loved to have sing-alongs while she played her guitar.  She was very skilled at cake decorating and creating amazing desserts.  Phyllis was always active in her church and enjoyed spending time with friends.  Most importantly Phyllis loved times spent with her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.”  She was a member of the Lakeview Church.  Phyllis was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edgar Ziege.  Visitation will be Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.  A private graveside will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.  A Celebration Of Life Service will be held Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Lakeview Church (47 Beachway Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46224).  Survivors include her children, Elizabeth (Scott) Gronotte, David (Kathy) Ziege, James (Kimberly) Ziege and Christina (Mike) Konrad; brother, Phil Dill; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to the Lakeview Church.
