Phillip Cobb

Phillip Cobb, 80, of Indianapolis, passed away September 6, 2022. He was born August 29, 1942 to the late Vernon Cobb and Aileen (Ballard) Cobb in McCory, Arkansas. Phillip worked for various trucking companies over the years as a truck driver. He enjoyed being a father and driving around various states to see family members. Phillip also loved to go to the horse track. Phillip is survived by his wife, Jodi (Brown) Cobb; sons, Tracy Cobb, Mike Hoffman, Phillip Cobb Jr. and Jerry Cobb; daughter, Melanie Cobb; two step-daughters, Shelia Renee Brown and Jamie Lynn Taylor; five brothers, four sisters, eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Holly Sue Garrison and one sister. Visitation will be at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in West Ridge Cemetery, Indianapolis.
