Patricia "Patty" O'Brien, 86, of Clayton, passed away March 3, 2019. She was born on June 13, 1932 in Indianapolis, to the late Benjamin and Dorothy Lee. Patty was a loving mother and a dedicated homemaker. She was a member of the Hazelwood Christian Church and worked with a youth group at the church. Patty enjoyed sewing quilts, collecting Precious Moments, going to flea markets and traveling to Las Vegas to play the dollar slots. She was a great cook and made highly sought after no bake cookies and ham salad. Patty started a Cub Scouts program at her home for her surrounding area in her earlier years. Patty was preceded in death by a son, Richard O'Brien; daughter, Georgia Ann; brothers, Walter, Robert and Butch Lee; sister, Mary Ellen Anderson and a grand daughter, Nici Ankney. Funeral services will be Friday, March 8, 2019 at 1:00 PM in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial will follow in Clayton Cemetery. Survivors include her loving husband, George O'Brien; sons, Steve (Evanna), Mike (Cathy) and Ron (Tammy) O'Brien; daughter-in-law, Melissa O'Brien; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
