Norma J. Lantz

Norma J. Lantz, 92, of Boynton Beach, FL formerly of Plainfield, passed away on September 16, 2022. She was born on November 18, 1929 in Terre Haute, IN to the late Charles and Pearl Boyll. Norma received her master’s degree from Indiana State University. She retired in 1989 as the head of the Language Department at Decator Central High School. Norma was a teacher for over 32 years. She was a member of the Plainfield United Methodist Church and the Terre Haute Order of the Eastern Star #43. Norma loved to travel in her free time. She was preceded in death by her loving husbands, William Lantz Jr. and Melvin L. Low.  Funeral services will be Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Entombment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include her son, Gary (Pat) Lantz; daughter, Bonnie Wible; brother, Charles Boyll; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
