Myrtle L. Parsley

Myrtle L. Parsley, 84, of Avon, passed away July 6, 2018.  She was born February 4, 1934 to the late Ernest and Mable (Wright) Barnhart in Indianapolis, IN.  She worked as a medical secretary for IUPUI for 30 years retiring in 1995.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Plainfield.  Myrtle is survived by two daughters, Lisa C. (Steve) Downard and Susan D. (Jeff) Best; a brother, Donald Barnhart; two sisters, Ernestine Meyer and Kay White; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy David Parsley.  Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Tuesday, from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm.  Entombment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
