Mary L. Todd

Mary L. Todd, 87, of Avon, passed away April 30, 2019.  She was born September 30, 1931 to the late Luke and Celia (Floyd) Free in Marshall County, MS.  She worked in housekeeping at Adams Mark Hotel for 17 years retiring in 1998.  Later she worked for Avon High School as a cafeteria worker for 5 years.  She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.  One of her many loves were traveling, walking and fishing with the grandkids.  Mary is survived by her husband, Ed Todd Sr.; a son, Edward Todd Jr.; a daughter-in-law, Jenette Todd; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Todd; a daughter, Lisa Joan Foltz; and a brother, Franklin Free.  Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, May 3, 2019 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Friday from 5:00 pm until service time at 7:00 pm.   www.hamptongentry.com
