Mary C. Palmer

Mary C. Palmer, 95, of Indianapolis, passed away July 9, 2017.  She was born September 25, 1921 to the late Harry W. and Mary A. (Hunt) Doran in Indianapolis, IN.  She was an elementary school teacher for the Wayne Township School District from 1970 to 1995.  She was a member of the Plainfield Friends Meeting, the Bridgeport OES #513, and the Guild of Greater Indianapolis Literary League.  Mary is survived by a daughter, Nancy K. Stickney and a granddaughter, Elizabeth (Roger) Loesch.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. "Bud" Palmer, and a son, Gary Palmer.  Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday, July 13, 2017 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Thursday, from 10:30 am until service time at 11:30 am.  Burial will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
