Mary Lou Lollar

Mary Lou Lollar, 89, of Plainfield, passed away surrounded by loving family members.  She was born in LaPorte, IN on April 28, 1933 to the late Raymond and Gladys Brumley.  Mary was a student guidance specialist for Wayne Township School Corporation for 18 years retiring in 1988.  She was a Girls Scout Leader for 9 years.  Mary enjoyed singing, playing the piano, gardening, crafts, sunsets and watching hummingbirds.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Lollar; daughter, Ruthie Lollar-Shaver; brother, Phil Brumley.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm.  Survivors include her son, Les (Patty) Lollar; brother, Allan Brumley; grandchildren, Stefanie, Dana and Adam; great grandchildren, Audra, Isabella, Graeyson and Liam.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society online at donate.cancer.org.
