Mary Jean Hoffeditz

Mary Jean Hoffeditz, 95, formerly of Plainfield, passed away on October 13, 2022 surrounded by loving family members.  She married Irvin (Zeke) Hoffeditz on November 16, 1944 and he preceded her in death in 2010.  After Zeke's passing she moved to Miller's Merry Manor in Mooresville where she resided for 7 years and at the Worthington Place in Camby since July of this year.  Mary Jean was a lifelong homemaker and her joy in life was spending every moment with her children and grandchildren.  She attended Waverly Baptist Church.  Mary Jean is survived by her daughter, Carol Dickens; grandchildren, Lori (Jeff) Davis, Kathy (Richard) Settles, Bradley (Phaedra) Wilson, Julie (Duke) Brindley; 9 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren with 1 on the way next month!  Also preceding her in death was a daughter, Karen Wilson; son in law, Eddie Wilson; son in law, Charles Dickens and a great granddaughter.  The family would like to thank the staff at Worthington Place Assisted Living and Brookdale Hospice for the excellent care they provided in these last few months.  There will be no calling or services.  Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
