Mary E. Hale, 92, of Plainfield, passed away on June 8, 2024. She was born on October 26, 1931 in Indianapolis to the late Charles and Bertha Tuttle. Mary worked as a secretary for many years. She enjoyed shopping and sewing in her free time. Mary loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the Souls Harbor Assembly of God where she was very active in all the women's church activities. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, William "Ray" Hale; 2 brothers and 1 sister. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Entombment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include her son, Bruce Hale; daughter, Susan Rose; grandchildren, Jamie Rose, Justin Rose and Jake Williams.
