Mary Louise Coleman-Taber, 95, of Plainfield, passed away December 22, 2022. She was born June 25, 1927 in Indianapolis to the late Horace Daum and Freida Nation. Mary was a RN for the Indiana Youth Center, the Indiana Boys School, and a nurse at the Mill Creek School system. She was a member of the Plainfield United Methodist Church, Tri Kappa, and the Murat Shrine. Mary enjoyed ballroom dancing and square dancing in her free time. She liked traveling all around the world on cruises. Mary loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her sons, Richard E. (Katrina) and Charles L. Coleman; brothers, Robert and Melvin Daum; grandchild, Sarah Dickman; amd 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Coleman who passed in 1972. She was remarried to Lester Gene Taber who passed away in 1998. She also was preceded in death by her brothers, James and Russell Daum; sister, Linda English. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 12:00 (noon) until the time of the service at 1:00 pm. Entombment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.
