Mary A. Anderson

Mary A. Anderson, 88, of Plainfield formerly of Belleville, passed away on November 17, 2017. She was born in Avon, IN on November 22, 1928 to the late Maurice and Marguerite (Courtney) Rose. Mary was co-owner of the Anderson Shell Gas Station for 25 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Anderson; daughter, Linda Strong; brother, Edward Rose and 3 great grandsons. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call from 11:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in Clayton Cemetery. Survivors include her son, Larry (Evaline) Anderson; daughter, Lana (Tom) Horner; 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to Season's Hospice Foundation.
