Marvin "Leon" Larrison

Marvin "Leon" Larrison, 88, of Plainfield, passed away on November 16, 2022.  He was born on June 4, 1934 in Wirt, IN to the late Everett and Frances Larrison.  Leon was a clerk for the United States Postal Service in Indianapolis for 35 years before retiring in 1989.  He enjoyed fishing, putting puzzles together, playing UNO, euchre and gardening in his free time.  Leon loved spending time with his family as often as he could.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Dale and George Larrison; sister, Pauline Griffin; grandson, Tony Ferree.  Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 12:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Lincoln Memory Gardens.  Survivors include his loving wife, Roberta Larrison; daughters, Margie (Mark) Danforth, Julia (Kenneth) Robinson, Mona Larrison (Frank Ferree) and Leslie (Jay) Whitlock; brothers, Paul and Richard Larrison; 9 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
