Martha Long

Martha Long, 97, of Plainfield, passed away on October 20, 2020.  She was born on October 30, 1922 in Pulaski County, KY to the late Roy and Pearl Taylor.  Martha was a loving mother and a dedicated homemaker.  She was a member of the Plainfield Church of Christ.  Martha enjoyed sewing, quilting and cooking in her free time.  She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.  Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Long; son, Gary Long; brothers, Chester, Herschell, Noel and Junior Taylor.  Funeral services will be Friday, October 23, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the Plainfield Church Of Christ (950 Township Line Road, Plainfield, IN 46168) where friends may call from 11:00 am until time of service.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Survivors include her son, Donald (Sue) Long; daughter, Sandy (Randy) Love; sisters, Della Woodsen and Irene Taylor; daughter in law, Vicki Long; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
