Madhuri Vashi

Madhuri Vashi, 65, of Plainfield, Indiana, passed away on Nov 16th 2018. Born January 3rd, 1953 in India, to Joseph and Ruth Solanki. She had a blessed childhood with loving parents and siblings. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Kartik Vashi, and Son, Rahul Vashi and his wife. She was a loving wife, and a caring mother. Additionally, as owner of a local business in Plainfield, Ashley Motel, she was a strong and independent business woman. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009, and fought it for 9+ years, before passing away due to disease progression.

Her two loves were food and dogs. She was a gentle soul that tried to help as many as she could in her path. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
