Louise Roach 89, of Plainfield, Indiana went home to be with her Lord and Savior early Sunday morning January 7, 2018. Louise grew up near Loogootee, Indiana. She worked as an electronics technician for many years and retired from Esterline-Angus in Speedway. Louise loved bowling, line dancing, square dancing, RV'ing and fishing, playing cards and was an excellent gardener. She was an avid Pacers fan. She loved sewing, knitting and crocheting. She was a member of the Eagles VFW and belonged to "The Kensington Ladies". She loved modern electronics, often referred to as the technology queen, she was never without her phone. Most important to her was spending time with her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She attended Mt. Gilead Church in Mooresville for 15 years. She was very loved and will be deeply missed. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Roach, son Charles E. Roach and brothers, Philip and Alvie Porter. She is survived by her son, Michael (Michele) Roach of Mooresville, Indiana, grandson, Michael S. (Stacy) Roach and granddaughter, Jamie (Matthew) Kurtz along with seven great grandchildren. Louise is also survived by her brothers Tommy Porter, Sylvester (Helen) Porter, Ronald (Alice) Porter, Charlie (Brenda) Porter, and sisters, Luvena Hinchman and Faye Ryan. as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, Thursday January 11 at 11:30 AM, with service immediately following at 1:00 PM.
