Louise Kalb

Louise Kalb, 93, of Plainfield, passed away April 20, 2023.  She was born December 23, 1929 to the late Minter Dale and Sarah (Clark) Hayes in Exeter, VA.  She was a homemaker.  She loved dearly her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She loved watching QVC,  One of her weaknesses (or passion) was she loved to indulge in sweets.  Louise is survived by her son, Allen (Donna) Kalb; a daughter, Kathy (Donald) Kantz; a brother, Roy (Peggy) Hayes; two sisters, Jeanette O'Hara and Sue (Vernon) Gore; 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Kalb.  Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 22, 2023 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Saturday from 12:00 noon until service time at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Cartersburg.
