Linda Kay Hall (Newsome), 76, of Plainfield, passed away on December 23, 2024.  She was born on June 9, 1948 in Spokane, WA to the late Cecil Storment and Mary Repp.  Linda was the owner of Al's Donuts for 19 years.  She liked anything to do with crafts and gardening flowers.  Linda enjoyed spending time on the river with John and going to the casino in her free time.  She never met a stranger.  Linda loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.  She will be missed everyday.  Funeral services will be on Friday, December 27, 2024 at 12:00 pm (noon) in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery.  Survivors include her loving husband, John Hall; grandchildren, Kaliyah (Mason) Brown and Carli Bruner;  brother, Dan (Cyann) Storment; step-children, John Albert (Chastidy) Hall and Katie (Jerry) Jasinski; step grandchildren, Brock Hall, Bree Hall, Zac Jasinski and Gus Jasinski; great grandchildren, Myla and Madelyn.  In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to one of the charities listed below the obituary.
