Leonard J. Eberwein

Leonard J. Eberwein, 95, of Plainfield, passed away on July 15, 2017.  He was born on May 27, 1922 in Zenith, IN to the late Sam and Mary (Price) Eberwein.  Leonard was a mechanic for Allison's Transmission for 22 years retiring in 1987.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie (Wilhoite) Eberwein; sons, Leroy and Randy Eberwein; several brothers and sisters; grandson, Brad McKamey.  Funeral services will be 12:00 (noon) Saturday, July 22, in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may call from 10:00 am until time of service.  Survivors include his daughters, Lisa (Randy) Davis and Pam (Jim) McKamey; brother, Jesse Eberwein; sister, Elsie Bevington; grandchildren, Kelly McKamey, Mallory (Billy) Hiatt, Austin (Krystal) Davis and Zack Davis; 3 great grandchildren; honorary grandchild, Britt Priest.
