Leon Eugene Steely

Leon Eugene Steely, 70, formerly of Michigan, passed away on January 17, 2020.  He was born in Waterloo, IA on October 5, 1949 to the late Eugene Steely and Hazel Nielsen.  Leon was a project manager and was contracted out to GM on a regular basis.  He was a member of the Avon Parkside Church of the Nazarene.  Leon belong to the Indianapolis Municipal Band and the French Horn.  He loved spending time with his family.  Leon had a passion for building LEGOs.  He was preceded in death by a grandson, Caleb Steely.  A Celebration Of Life will be Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Avon Parkside Church of the Nazarene (47 N. CR 625 E., Avon, IN 46123).  There will be no visitation.  Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years just shy of 49 years, Reta Steely; son, Kevin Steely; daughter, Kathy (Chris) Bianco; sister, Karen Flemming; grandchildren, Dan, Anna, Kristin, Joshua and Rachel Steely.
