Laura Ann Thomas

Laura Ann Thomas, 54, of Clayton, passed away on April 23, 2019.  She was born on June 24, 1964 in Indianapolis to Paul Gibson and Margie Day.  Laura was a dedicated homemaker and her family meant the world to her.  She always told her grandchildren that they were her sunshine and she loved them to the moon and back.  Laura always had a hug for you and never knew a stranger.  She enjoyed singing, scrap booking, traveling and riding 4 Wheeler's on the trails, and spending time at her cabin.  If anyone ever needed anything she was the first to volunteer and help them.  Laura was a very active member of the Plainfield Church of Christ.  She ran a booth at Gilley's Antique & Decorator Mall in her free time.  Laura was preceded in death by her grandmother, Doris Day; grandchildren, Angel Hardin and Avery Hollingsworth; father in law, Paul Thomas.  Visitation will be Monday, April 29, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm in the Plainfield Church Of Christ (950 Township Line Road, Plainfield, IN 46168).  Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 10:30 am in the church.  Burial will follow at Clayton Cemetery.  Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Mike Thomas; daughters, Rebekah (Damon) Schafer, Candace (Ivan) Piche, Tabitha Hardin and Susanna (Clay) Hollingsworth; mother, Margie Day; father, Paul (Sandee) Gibson; grandfather, John Day; brother, Paul (Patty) Gibson; sister, Tami (Gary) Faulk; grandchildren, Mallory, Aidan, Landon, Devon, Ana, Andrew, Zoey, Alyene, Lucas, Benjamin, Lillian and Bethany; several extended family members she loved very much.
