Darlene Sullivan, 75, of Plainfield, passed away surrounded by loving family members on September 11, 2024. She was born to the late Oral H. Adams and Sally J. (Wheeler) Warren on January 8, 1949 in Lurton, Arkansas. Darlene worked as a secretary for Westview Hospital for many years before retiring at the age of 62. She attended Mars Hill Free Methodist Church, where she was involved in outreach ministries. She later attended Grace Pointe Church of the Nazarene. Darlene loved singing, shopping, traveling, talking on the phone, watching westerns, taking walks, but above all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Sullivan. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024 at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home starting at 6:00pm, where friends and family may visit from 3:00pm until time of services. Darlene is survived by her husband, Mark Forsythe; three sons, Don Terry, Darren (Niki) Terry and Brandon (Rachel) Terry; two daughters, Valerie (Michael) Fritchie and Amber (Eric) Payne; four sisters, Lillian Murray, Ava Blanchard, Nadene Clayton and Patricia McElhany; two brothers, Robert Adams and Leroy Adams; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mars Hill Free Methodist Church, 3900 Farnsworth St., Indianapolis, IN 46241.
