John "Mike" Unterreiner

John "Mike" Unterreiner, 73, of Plainfield, passed away on November 19, 2024.  He was born on May 13, 1951 in Sedalia, MO to the late Linus and Maxine Unterreiner.  Mike was an Inspector for the Indiana Department Of Transportation.  He liked working, especially when he worked security at Lucas Oil Stadium for the Colts games.  Mike enjoyed traveling, playing the drums and watching sports including baseball and football.  In his younger years he liked playing softball.  Mike watched Family Feud every single night.  He was a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church.  Mike was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Unterreiner.  Visitation will be Monday, November 25, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at St. Susanna Catholic Church (1210 E. Main Street, Plainfield, IN 46168).  A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 11:00 am in the church.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Survivors include his children, Deonca (Mike) Ferguson, Dominic Unterreiner and Amber Unterreiner; brothers, David (Vanessa), Gerald (Cheri) and Dennis Unterreiner; 7 grandchildren.
