Jerry Lee Devine

Jerry Lee Devine, 88, of Coatsville, passed away February 15, 2023 surrounded by his family after a courageous battle against heart disease. He was born to the late Cecil V. Devine and Ada (Miller) Devine. Jerry retired January 1, 1990 from P.S.I. Energy after 37 years. He started as a ground truck driver, he advanced to be a senior construction project engineer, not bad for a country boy from Monroe City! Jerry was a member of the Scottish Rite #32 for 67 years in Evansville, Indiana as well as a member of the Masonic Lodge #548 for 68 years in Monroe City, Indiana. Jerry and Ruth enjoyed many years of wintering in Bradenton, Florida. Many of his hobbies included farming, gardening, attending auto races and basketball games. He was preceded in death by his brother, J.R. Devine and his sister, Marjorie Devine. Jerry is survived by the love of his life, Ruth Devine; sons; Gene Devine and Kent Allen (Michele Lee) Devine.
