Jeffrey W. Pirtle

Jeffrey W. Pirtle, 48  Beloved son, partner, brother, uncle and friend Jeffrey W. Pirtle, 48, died Wednesday, July 19 at his home in Shelbyville, Indiana. Jeff was born in 1969 in Danville, Indiana and spent an idyllic childhood in Plainfield, Indiana, where he discovered and indulged in his love of the outdoors--a lifelong passion. He graduated from Plainfield High School in 1987 and went on to obtain education from Lincoln Technical Institute, where he developed his skills as a top-rate diesel mechanic, his established career. Jeff used those same talents to generously help his friends, neighbors and community members.  Jeff is survived by fiancée Tammy Elliott of Shelbyville, Indiana; parents Donald and Brenda Pirtle of Plainfield; brother and sister-in-law Doug and Aja Pirtle and niece and nephew Sophia and Ethan Pirtle, also of Plainfield.  A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
