Jared I. English

Jared Irwin English, 71, of Avon, passed away suddenly after a brief illness on November 19, 2020.  Jared was born March 19, 1949 to the late Jared and Hazel English in Elgin, IL.  Jared courageously enlisted in the U.S Navy, becoming a Machinist Mate in the Vietnam War.  After his naval service, Jared began his longtime journey as a hairstylist.  In 1974, Jared married the love of his life, Debra.  They went on to have three beautiful daughters.  Jared enjoyed woodworking, telling jokes, styling hair and most of all, being with his family.  The love that they had for one another was limitless.  Jared was deeply loved and brought immense joy to all those around.  Jared is survived by his wife, Debra; three daughters, Devon (Andrew) Long, Lauren (Steven) Sexton, and Morgan (J.R.) Gray; 9 grandchildren, Taylor, Dylan, Nicholas, Justin, Victoria, Jared, Samantha, Jackson, and Elaina; 2 great-grandchildren, Maverick and Memphis; 1 brother and 5 sisters.  Services and calling will be private at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. with graveside services at West Newton Cemetery at around 2:00 pm with limited availability.
