Janice W. Fisher Kennedy, 83, of Clayton, IN, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 29, 2024. Janice was born July 24, 1940 to the late Calvin E. Jr., and Alma L. (Sharer) Wells. Janice lived her entire life in Hazelwood on the family farm and in the past several years enjoyed the life of a snowbird in Florida. Janice was a lifelong member of the Hazelwood Baptist Church. She was a talented painter and seamstress. She enjoyed crafting and was very creative. She also enjoyed traveling, attending her grandchildren's sporting events, crosswords, Euchre, poker, cooking, baking and playing games with the family. Janice is survived by her husband, David Kennedy; her son, Richard (Patti) Fisher; a daughter, Amber (Burl) Stanley;a brother, Calvin E. III "Bud" (Connie) Wells; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Warren) Weakley, RJ Ridener, and Courtney (Jesse) Stanley; and seven great grandchildren, Gavin, Kaiden, Teagan, Axton, Easton, Braelyn and Madelena. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Fisher. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 4, 2024 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Thursday from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Clayton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity in Janice Fishers's name.
