James David Mahan

James David Mahan, 80, of Coatesville, passed away May 3, 2021.  He was born June 14, 1940 to the late James G. and Lucy (Latimer) Mahan in Birmingham, Alabama.  He was a sheet metal worker for Kirk & Blum of Indiana for 43 years retiring in 2001.  He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 20, The Belleville Masonic Lodge #65 and the OES #414.  James is survived by his wife, Eunice M. (Mabrey) Mahan; two sons, David Ray (Christine) and Andy (Tammy) Mahan; three brothers, Robert, Rodney (Glenda) and Arnie (Debbie) Mahan; a sister, Mary Tallar; 4 grandchildren, Jean Marie Gallo, Lindsay Mahan, Jeniffer Mahan, and Jeremy Mahan; 3 great grandchildren, Owen Query, Hailey Gallo, and Andrew Gallo.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 8, 2021 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Saturday from 1:00 pm until service time at 3:00 pm.
