James "Bubby" Land Jr.

James "Bubby Land Jr., 51, of Indianapolis, passed away on May 10, 2022.  He was born on August 18, 1970 in Indianapolis to James Monroe and Mary Ann Land.  Bubby graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1988.  He worked for Crown Hill Cemetery as a floor tech grounds keeper.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, woodworking and grilling in his free time.  Bubby was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Land.  Funeral services will be Friday, May 13, 2022 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in West Ridge Park Cemetery.  Survivors include his parents, James and Mary Ann Land; sister, Stacey (Charles) Blake; aunt, Debbie Mace and Phyllis Cooper; nephew, CW Blake; niece, Jacqulyn Blake.
