Helen E. Stout

Helen E. Stout, 89, of Plainfield, passed away May 13, 2017.  She was born June 10, 1927 to the late Alvin and Edna (Seighman) Simmons in Dallas, TX.  She was a member of the Plainfield Christian Church, and the Eastern Star.  She worked for Grove Hill Funeral Home in Dallas as a receptionist from 1979-1998.  Prior to that she was a teacher's aid for the Plainfield Community High School for 8 years from 1971 to 1979.  Helen is survived by a son and his wife, Drs. Chris and Karen Stout; and two grandchildren, Grayson and Annika Stout.  Funeral services will be at (CORRECTED TIME)12:00 NOON  Thursday, May 18, 2017 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Thursday, from 11:00 am until service time at 12:00 noon.  Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.  Memorial contributtions may be sent to https://tinyurl.com/ HelenStoutMemorialDonation
