Helen Shrader

Helen Shrader, 90, of Plainfield, passed away at her home peacefully surrounded by loving family members.  She was born in Newhall, WV on December 28, 1932 to the late Otis and Leatha Stinson.  Helen was a cook at Cascade High School.  She enjoyed playing Euchre and shopping in her free time.  Helen loved spending time with her family as often as possible. She belonged to the West Newton Worship & Youth Center.  Helen was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandy Morris; siblings, Steve, Jerry and Dan Stinson, Geraldine Nichols and Molly Odom.  Funeral services will be Monday, July 10, 2023 at 2:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 12:00 pm (noon) until the time of service at 2:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Stilesville Cemetery.  Survivors include her loving husband, Eugene Shrader; children, Teresa (Bob) McGurer and Wayne (Tammy) McCoy; brothers, Jim (Patty) and Joe (Mary) Stinson; sister, Margaret (Greg) Witkowski; 5 grandhildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
